Let’s meet Maria! She joined our team in 2020 as a Veterinary Technician. Maria provides care for all of our patients when it comes to wellness vaccines, non-wellness diagnostics, surgery prep, monitoring and so much more! Maria has been involved with veterinary medicine for the last few years working with dogs and cats in her own community. She is passionate about all animal’s nutrition, housing and enrichment. She began as a kennel and boarding technician. This is where her love for veterinary medicine grew now she is License Veterinary Technician. She was inspired to attend veterinary technician school to further her career in the field. After 2 years, we were lucky enough to have her join our team. Maria has become an essential member of Bellaire Richmond Pet Hospital. Her initiative and positivity keep us going!

Outside of work, Maria enjoys helping out at her church, spending time with her family, and completing jigsaw puzzles. Maria has many pets as a result of her passion for rescuing and caring for ones in need. Her dogs names are Sofia, Bubu, Elsa, Ana, Aurora, Mickey, Bruno, Lilo and her newest pup, Bella. She also has a beautiful cat named Cookie.
